Track Agricultural Performance with Virtual Crop Stations

The “Virtual Crop Station” concept aims to monitor the crop cycle for the main crops and plantations of the country, leveraging VCS technology developed by Hydrosat, PCM GreenTech’s strategic partner. It is based on standardized monitoring of a defined production area, allowing monthly measurement of rainfall, soil moisture, dry matter production [kg/ha], and the estimated seasonal yield balance [kg/ha].

Objective of the Virtual Crop Station (VCS)

The VCS aims to establish an innovative and integrated system for monitoring crop growth, enabling regular tracking of the crop cycle, anticipating needs, facilitating decision-making, and evaluating the effectiveness of agricultural policies

Analyses and Reports

Each month, VCS generates comparative reports over the past five years, including reference curves and deviations from these references, to assess the agricultural performance of a representative area (polygon) within an agroecological zone.

Reporting and Access

All data is synchronized, analyzed, and presented through dynamic dashboards on the VCS platform, providing a comprehensive and actionable view of the crop cycle.
